Every Digital Ileus product comes with a full 30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, simply contact us within 30 calendar days of your purchase date and we will issue a complete refund. Our goal is your satisfaction — and your trust.

1. Scope and General Principles

This Refund Policy applies to all digital products and services sold through the Digital Ileus platform, including PDF guides, video-based courses, digital tools, and any other downloadable or accessible content made available through digitalileus.com.

Digital Ileus is committed to fair, transparent, and consumer-friendly commerce. This Policy is designed to exceed the minimum protections established by Brazilian Federal Law No. 8.078/1990 (Consumer Defense Code — CDC), particularly Art. 49, which guarantees a 7-day cancellation right for purchases made outside a physical establishment. Digital Ileus voluntarily extends this protection to 30 (thirty) calendar days.

All refund requests are handled directly by Digital Ileus and processed through Stripe, our certified payment processor. No chargeback or payment dispute with your card issuer is necessary — and we ask that you contact us first so we can resolve the matter promptly and fairly.

2. Eligibility for a Refund

A refund request is eligible when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The request is submitted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the original purchase date, as recorded in our system;
  • The request is submitted by the original buyer, using the same email address registered at the time of purchase;
  • The purchase was made directly through the Digital Ileus platform at digitalileus.com;
  • The product in question has not been subject to a prior approved refund request by the same buyer.

No justification is required within the 30-day window. The guarantee is unconditional — you do not need to explain why you are requesting a refund.

3. How to Request a Refund — Step by Step

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Send an email to suporte@digitalileus.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Product Name]"
  2. In the body of the email, include your full name, the email address used at checkout, and your order number (found in your purchase confirmation email).
  3. Our support team will confirm receipt of your request within 1 (one) business day.
  4. Once verified, cancellation will be confirmed by email within 2 (two) business days and the refund will be submitted to Stripe for processing.
  5. The refunded amount will be credited to your original payment method according to your card issuer's timeline — typically between 5 and 10 business days.

You do not need to delete, return, or prove non-use of the content to be eligible. Approval is based solely on the purchase date and the identity of the requester.

4. Refund Processing Timeline

The following timeline applies from the moment a refund request is received:

Within 1 business day

Digital Ileus confirms receipt of your refund request and begins verification of purchase records.

Within 2 business days

Refund is approved and submitted to Stripe for processing. Your access to the product is cancelled at this stage. You will receive a written confirmation by email.

5–10 business days (approx.)

The refunded amount is credited to your original payment method. This timeframe is determined by your card issuer or bank and is outside of Digital Ileus's control. If the credit has not appeared after 10 business days, please contact your bank before reaching out to us.

Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used at checkout. We are unable to redirect refunds to a different card, account, or payment method.

5. Situations Not Eligible for a Refund

The following situations fall outside the scope of this Refund Policy:

  • Requests submitted more than 30 (thirty) calendar days after the original purchase date;
  • Requests for products that have already been refunded to the same buyer in a previous transaction;
  • Purchases made through third-party platforms or resellers not affiliated with Digital Ileus — in such cases, the refund policy of the original point of sale applies;
  • Requests submitted by someone other than the original registered buyer;
  • Situations where the user's access was suspended or cancelled due to a proven violation of the Terms of Use (unauthorized redistribution of content, fraudulent activity, or misuse of the platform).

In all other cases not explicitly addressed above, Digital Ileus reserves the right to evaluate refund requests individually and in good faith, with the user's experience and the spirit of fair commerce as guiding principles.

6. Subscriptions and Recurring Billing

For products sold under a recurring subscription model, the following specific conditions apply:

  • The 30-day satisfaction guarantee applies to the first billing period only. If you are not satisfied after your initial purchase, you may request a full refund of that first charge within 30 days;
  • Subsequent renewal charges are non-refundable once the renewal period has begun. However, you may cancel your subscription at any time to prevent future charges;
  • To cancel a subscription and avoid the next renewal charge, the cancellation request must be submitted at least 48 (forty-eight) hours before the scheduled renewal date, via suporte@digitalileus.com or through the client panel;
  • Upon cancellation, your access to the product will remain active until the end of the current paid period. No partial refunds are issued for unused days within an active billing cycle;
  • Digital Ileus will send a reminder email before each renewal. If you wish not to continue, that is your opportunity to cancel.

7. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

A chargeback occurs when a buyer asks their bank or card issuer to reverse a charge directly, bypassing the merchant's own refund process. Digital Ileus takes chargebacks very seriously and has a clear position on their use:

If you are dissatisfied with a purchase and are eligible for a refund under this Policy, please contact us directly at suporte@digitalileus.com. We will resolve your request promptly, typically within 2 business days, without any need to involve your bank or card issuer.

Initiating a chargeback without first contacting Digital Ileus and allowing us the opportunity to resolve the matter constitutes a violation of our Terms of Use and may result in:

  • Immediate and permanent cancellation of access to all Digital Ileus products associated with the buyer's account;
  • Placement of the buyer's account on a fraud watch list, preventing future purchases;
  • Formal dispute of the chargeback with Stripe and the card network, including submission of all purchase records, access logs, and communications as evidence;
  • Civil legal action to recover damages in cases of fraudulent or bad-faith chargebacks, as permitted under Brazilian law.

Friendly fraud — the practice of requesting a chargeback while having legitimately received and accessed a purchased product — is taken seriously by Digital Ileus, Stripe, and card networks. Digital Ileus maintains detailed records of all transactions, product access events, and buyer communications for a minimum of 12 months to support dispute resolution.

8. Technical Issues and Access Problems

If you experience technical difficulties accessing a product you have purchased — such as a broken delivery link, login issues, or inaccessible content — please contact our support team at suporte@digitalileus.com before requesting a refund.

In the vast majority of cases, technical issues can be resolved quickly. Our team will prioritize your request and restore full access as promptly as possible. If we are unable to resolve the issue within a reasonable time, a full refund will be issued regardless of the 30-day window, as the product was not properly delivered.

Please note that the following situations do not constitute a failure of delivery and are not grounds for a refund on technical basis:

  • The purchase confirmation email was received but landed in the spam or junk folder;
  • The user forgot the password to their account (password reset is available at any time);
  • The content was accessed on one device and the user wishes to access it on another (multi-device access is supported);
  • The user's internet connection or device is incompatible with the content format.

9. Duplicate Purchases

If you accidentally purchase the same product twice, please contact us at suporte@digitalileus.com within 7 (seven) calendar days of the duplicate transaction. Digital Ileus will verify the duplicate purchase in our records and issue a full refund for the second charge, without requiring justification and regardless of the standard 30-day window.

Please include both order numbers in your email so we can identify and process the duplicate refund as quickly as possible.

10. Consumer Rights and Regulatory Compliance

This Refund Policy is fully compliant with Brazilian Federal Law No. 8.078/1990 (Consumer Defense Code), which establishes the baseline consumer rights applicable to all digital purchases made in Brazil. Our 30-day guarantee exceeds the statutory 7-day minimum, as a voluntary commitment to fair commerce.

If you feel that your rights as a consumer have not been respected under this Policy, you are entitled to seek resolution through the following channels, in addition to contacting Digital Ileus directly:

  • PROCON — Brazilian State Consumer Protection Agency (procon.mj.gov.br);
  • Consumidor.gov.br — Federal Government's public online dispute resolution platform;
  • Reclame Aqui — private consumer-business mediation and transparency platform;
  • National Data Protection Authority (ANPD) — for matters involving personal data (gov.br/anpd).

Digital Ileus commits to responding to all inquiries received through these channels within the legally required timeframes.

11. Amendments to This Policy

Digital Ileus reserves the right to update this Refund Policy at any time to reflect changes in business practices, payment processing rules, or applicable law. Any material changes will be communicated by email to registered buyers at least 15 (fifteen) days before the updated Policy takes effect.

The version of the Refund Policy in effect at the time of your purchase will govern any refund request related to that purchase. The most current version is always available at digitalileus.com/refund-policy, and the date of the last update is displayed at the top of this page.
